Our Summer Farm Camp
Welcome to our humble but mighty farm – a farm community built on love & hope with a mission to help children find what lights their hearts in nature.
We use regenerative & organic practices to provide hands-on education for children and families in gardening, nature crafting, and farm to table cooking. Come join us for a workshop or summer camp at the farm, and if you're not local – subscribe to our YouTube and Instagram channels for DIY info from our garden to yours at home!

What to Expect at Farm Camp
Mission
Our goal is to teach children the power of a seed, healthy earth, and an educated mind, the wonders of food - from seed to plate, we show children how to plant, grow, harvest, and prepare healthy foods, enjoy nature crafts, and connect in a nature setting.
Overview
The Farm Camp program is a weekly summer day camp for children ages 5-12 that provides a true hands-on, outdoor, nature focused experience. We grow organic vegetables and cut flowers and spend the entire day outside in nature. Summer Camp runs for 10 weeks June - August, from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Each week focuses on a different theme. We spend every day outside and in the greenhouse, planting, crafting, harvesting, hiking, and cooking.
2019 Summer Camp Highlights
Take a look at our 2019 wrap Video so you can see firsthand what the farm looks like and how we encourage campers to interact with the veggies, the land, our guest artists that visit with the kids and our super famous Farm Stand Friday program.

Scholarship Fund
If a child wants to play in Nature with us at Farm to Table Kids, money shouldn’t stand in the way. I am grateful everyday to be able to do what I do with my community by my side - no little farm kid left behind! If you have a farm kid that wants to play with us and you could use financial support at this time to make it happen - please contact me, Farmer Steph via this form below and I’ll be in touch.
Warmly,
Farmer Steph
How Our Camp Started
Farm to Table Kids Summer Farm Camp started at Skyline Farm in 2017 after Joey (Farmer Steph's son) got well from stage 4 cancer. The camp remained at Skyline Farm in North Yarmouth, Maine from 2017-2021.
In 2023, Farm to Table Kids relocated to Maine Coast Waldorf School in Freeport. In response to community demand, we doubled our farm camp enrollment and expanded our Farm to Table Kids family!
Our Camp’s Future
Farmer Steph is on the active hunt for Farm to Table Kids’ FOREVER FARM where she hopes to someday plant deep roots and NEVER need to move again. Someday FTTK will have a forever farm for year-round garden-based education, after school programing, and adult and child workshops. If you are interested in talking with Farmer Steph about a forever farm opportunity please contact her at, farmersteph@farmtotablekids.org.
Our Summer Farm Camp is sprouting in a new location, coming summer 2024! (We can't spill the beans yet, but we’ll give your a hint: it's in southern Maine, with our longtime MOFGA farm friends).
Be sure you are registered for our newsletter for updates & news!
