DIY VALENTINE CRAFT: Flower Press Ornaments

This is the PERFECT snowy day Valentine’s craft for kiddos that like to get creative with NATURE!

This craft really is so simple. The clay is a very smooth moon-sand texture…only3 ingredients! The kids go crazy over it! This craft actually does keep my kids engaged and busy for a long time. They use nature materials (like flower petals, pine, herbs, anything you have) to create bright happy pops of color and garden love to your gray winter months. Kids can get as intricate as you can image. We printed out mandalas and some kids recreated them with seeds! It took a long time and it was so great to see them spend real time on it. This is also a great craft for talking with kids about the nature materials you are using: flowers, dried herbs, pine, seeds, etc.
